Question 1

How much do cable technicians earn with Evolink?

Accepted Answer

Evolink technicians earn $1,000–$1,500 per week based on production — the more quality work you complete, the more you make.

Question 2

Do I need experience to apply?

Accepted Answer

No. Paid training is available and entry-level candidates are welcome if you are handy, reliable and willing to work at heights. Experienced cable and fiber technicians are also welcome — your production sets your pay.

Question 3

What vehicle do I need?

Accepted Answer

A minivan, cargo van or pickup truck is required. You carry a long ladder, tools and equipment every day — a regular car does not work for this job.

Question 4

What tools do I need?

Accepted Answer

Your own ladder, drill and basic hand tools.

Question 5

Do I need an iPhone?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All work runs through the Evolink app — your route, your jobs, your photo documentation and your pay are all in the app, and it requires an iPhone.

Question 6

Where is the work?

Accepted Answer

Evolink serves all of New York and New Jersey. Jobs are residential installations and service calls on the Optimum network.

Question 7

How and when do I get paid?

Accepted Answer

Pay is weekly, based on the production you completed.

Question 8

How do I apply?

Accepted Answer

Apply on the Evolink careers page and complete the short registration form with your documents and photos. Evolink reviews every application and reaches out with the next steps.
